BFA Floristry Demontrations presenting: Sarah Horne

Posted by Dennis van Wonderen on 08 May 2008 at 07:53 PM

Almost another week has passed and loads more has happened. I promised a demonstrator update in my last blog and here it is... Our first demonstrator on Wednesday 23rd July will be Sarah Horne.

Sarah Horne AIFD is an International Designer, working most recently in Canada, France, Spain and the USA as well as widely throughout England, she is owner of the Award Winning Sarah Horne Flowers in Leamington Spa. Sarah is also an industry consultant working for clients such as BBC television Flower Council of Holland and Interflora.

Inducted into AIFD in Seattle in 2005 Sarah has attained two Chelsea Gold medals and one Bronze medal and her shop has reached the National finals of the The UK Flower Shop of the Year four times (every time that they have entered it!)

Sarah has an infectious passion for the floral Industry. She is a member of the European design group Pandora's Box and has recently attended their training workshops throughout Europe with such esteemed lecturers as Gregor Lersch, Tor Gundersen and Per Benjamin.

Visitors to the BFA marquee will be able to see Sarah demonstrate throughout the day on Wednesday 23rd July. That's me done for the moment, more on the demonstrators in my next post. Don't forget to look at for your nearest BFA member florist. I'm off to enjoy the last bit of today's sunshine with a glass of pimms now whilst I still can :-)
