Last year we saw mostly greattits doing this, but as you can see this year the greater spotted woodpeckers are getting in on the act as well!

To link into the exhibition gardeners Peter Earl and Garry Preston have created a delightful version of Mr McGregor’s Garden. Situated at the back of the fruit and veg garden at Rosemoor, it is fenced and hedged, and incorporates many of the items mentioned in the Beatrix Potter books: the tool shed, the cucumber frame, the gooseberry bush, rhubarb for Jemima’s eggs and a selection of fruit and vegetables. It has been completed with a scarecrow wearing Peter Rabbit’s blue jacket and tam o’shanter!
