I attended the East Feast Open Forum.  16 schools have formed a creative partnership with Eastfeast a charity that provides participating schools with artistic practitioners to stimulate creative learning.  I have been working with some of these schools.  Spring Meadow Primary School for example is one of my "hub" schools, when I hold Twilight Training.  It was a great day, with each school giving a presentation of their school garden.  It was a great way to share ideas and inspiration.

Now with the Summer Term in full swing - School gardening should be reaching a peak harvest of radish, peas, broad beans, early carrots and very soon early potatoes.  Strawberries should be ready to eat by now.  If your school has a watering schedule over the holidays then there is still time to plant pumpkins and leek plants.  Towards the end of the month sow french beans to harvest on your return in September.  Alternatively, once you've lifted the potatoes try putting a green manure down.  Read more

Tomorrow I'll tell you about a new sensory garden which has just been finished!
